NeoPL^TM Human Platelet Lysate is an animal serum-free, xenogeneic-free, and growth factor-rich cell culture supplement, offering a superior alternative to FBS. NeoPL^TMl is fibrinogen-depleted but might still contains some fibrinogens.

Donors: Product derived from normal human donor platelet units collected at U.S. blood centers. Multiple donor units are pooled in large batch sizes and manufactured to produce a consistent product.

Filtration: product has been aseptically filtered with 0.2 um filters.

Product Specifications: Heparin was used in the manufacturing process.

Application

Handling and Preparation 

• NeoPL^TM Human Platelet Lysate thaw at 37 ℃ water bath. Once NeoPL^TM-Xel is thawed, remove  from water bath immediately. Particulates will be observed after thawing. Particulate formation is normal will not affect performance. Additional filtration is not recommended.
• Thawing the product and preparing aliquots as soon as it is receivedand store   unused aliquots at -20℃.
• Storage at 4℃ is recommended for periods no longer than 1week.
• Do not store complete media at 4℃ for longer than 1 week

Instructions for Use

• Intended Use: NeoPL^TM HPL is added to cell culture media as a replacement for fetal bovine serum (FBS) in expansion of human cells, especially MSCs and fibroblasts.
• Recommended Concentration: The typical working range is 2-10 % v/v in the final culture medium. A concentration of 5 % v/v is frequently optimal for mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) with DMEM or αMEM medium, though the exact level should be empirically determined for each cell type.
• Anticoagulant Addition: NeoPL^TM Human Platelet Lysate products recommend the addition of heparin to the culture medium at a final concentration of 2 IU/mL to prevent clot formation. Exact concentration may need to be optimized based on your application.

Storage 

NeoPL^TM Human Platelet Lysate is most stable when stored frozen (-20℃).
