Description

NeoPL™-Boost Gold Edition is a next-generation Heparin-Free, Fibrinogen-depleted, Xeno-Free Human Platelet Lysate (HPL) designed to deliver superior performance for cell culture and regenerative medicine applications.
This upgraded formulation features an exceptionally high total protein concentration and remains stable without fibrin precipitation, ensuring clear, consistent, and reproducible results across batches.

Derived from human platelets collected at FDA-licensed U.S. blood centers, NeoPL™-Boost Gold Edition supports robust proliferation of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and other primary cells, offering a reliable, high-performance alternative to fetal bovine serum (FBS) and chemically defined media.
All platelet units used for manufacturing are tested negative for HIV-1, HIV-2, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, West Nile Virus, and Syphilis pathogens.

Instructions for Use

1.Cell seeding should be performed following the general guidelines for the specific cell type. For Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs), cells are typically plated at approximately 2×10^3 – 5×10^3 cells per cm2.
2. For MSCs, can be used at 5% vol/vol in a typical cell culture medium such as DMEM  or α-MEM. If the basic media doesn’t contain Glutamine, a source of L-Glutamine  will need to be added to the media at a final concentration of 2mM. For other types of cells, the concentration of NeoPL™-Boost will need to be titrated according to the application (a titration from 2% vol/vol to 10% vol/vol is recommended to establish the percentage of HPL needed for the cell type to use).
3. Do not allow primary MSC confluence to exceed 70-80%.

Storage & Handling

NeoPL™-Boostthaw at 37 ℃ water bath. Thawing the product and preparing aliquots as soon as it is receivedand store unused aliquots at -20℃. Storage at 4℃ is recommended for periods no longer than 1 week. Do not store complete media at 4℃ for longer than 1 week.

HPL(Human Platelet Lysate) is manufactured with the highest quality of raw materials. All human derived materials are obtained from government inspected facilities and are of US origin. Each donor unit was approved for human use and has been tested for infectous diseases including HIV-1, HIV-2, HIV-NAT, HCV, HBsAg, and RPR for Syphilis.

pH: 6.8-7.8
Total protein: 4.0-7 g/dl
Osmolality: 250-330 mOsm/kg
Endotoxin USP <8>: <5 EU/mL
Mycoplasma: Not detected
