The AICOH-BIO® PEDV Real-time PCR Kit utilizes highly reliable real-time PCR technology and a proprietary freeze-drying method (lyophilization) to accurately and specifically detect Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Virus (PEDV) nucleic acid. PEDV is a highly contagious viral disease affecting pigs, characterized by severe diarrhea and high mortality rates in piglets, posing a major threat to swine production globally.

This kit provides a critical diagnostic tool for PEDV surveillance and rapid outbreak containment. The lyophilized qPCR mix contains all necessary primers, probes (using the TaqMan system), enzyme, and dNTPs in one tube.
