AICOH-BIO® Newcastle Disease Virus (NDV) Real-time PCR Kit utilizes real-time PCR technology and premixed freeze drying method to accurately and specifically detect Newcastle Disease Virus (NDV) nucleic acid in avian species. NDV, also known as Avian Paramyxovirus type 1 (APMV-1), is a highly contagious viral pathogen that affects a wide range of bird species, including poultry. The Kit qPCR mix (lyophilized) contains primers, probes, enzyme and dNTPs in one tube.
